Planning and development of the NIMS University Campus underscores our belief in creation of a sound infrastructure for both learning and living. The NIMS University has excellent academic and residential facilities that make up a vibrant campus. The style of the buildings is unique with large rectangular and linear structures dotted around the 250 acre campus with large courtyards.
It has been designed keeping in mind the climatic conditions, still connecting the past with modern and contemporary design. The concept of the NIMS building and landscape is to create an environment with liveliness as a playground for dreams and a place for inspiration to the students.
NIMS University has spacious class rooms & most of them are amphitheatre style. They provide the most conducive environment for dynamic and focused discussions. Classrooms at NIMS are equipped with latest audio-visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc. which helps students and teacher to bring together analysis with action.
The NIMS central library was established in the year 2008, it is housed in a 2500 sq. m., University maintains well stocked separate libraries for each of its colleges and faculties. These libraries have approximately 62166 books on varied subjects and have subscription to print version of 288 national and international journals besides access to a host of e-journals. Fully automated and all the in-house operations performed by the library management software in all the associated libraries which will improve the users’ services. The University has subscribed the Clinical Key, DELNET, EBSCOhost and Maupatra data base providing access to full text research articles and sector specific reports in different disciplines.
Le Gabriel is a multi-cuisine fast food restaurant with a great ambience serves healthy and Hygienic meals, such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner to students, staffs and others. Great place to enjoy the best food within the campus.
NIMS University has its own Shopping mall and arcade within the campus for students and others. It’s a one stop shopping destination which is associates with high-end brands, food court and other essentials service.
NIMS University campus has associated with Banking and Post office service. Even it’s also facilitates with 24*7 active ATM’s
NIMS University has Grocery Store which facilitates all the types of food staples and household products within the campus.
NIMS University provides laundry services to help the resident students and faculty staff.
NIMS University transport department runs a fleet of buses and shuttle services to facilitates its students and staff to commute to and from various places in Jaipur City to the University Campus. University Also facilitates Shuttle services on daily basis for students to visit various places in Jaipur City
On-campus residential facility for students has been very thoughtfully designed and planned. Each unit in the NIMS Hostel Complex allows privacy and personal space to a student while giving a chance to live together and foster comradeship. Just as in apartment, three / four private, single occupancy rooms open into a common living room equipped with a television set ( optional in AC rooms), internet access and a pantry making it a complete independent unit. The hostels are air-conditioned, comfortable and conducive for the students to have a productive campus life, providing a perfect setting for academic pursuits.
NIMS University is very careful in ensuring all their students and staff will get healthy and Hygiene Food. There are 8 cafeterias located at different locations in Boys and Girls Hostel blocks. All Students will get 4 free meals in day.
NIMS University has NIMS Super Specialty Hospital within the campus which runs 24X7 and available for quick action for all our resident students and staff. University has various emergency vans and ambulances fully equipped with appropriate medical equipment, medication and stretchers.
NIMS University is very serious about student and staff safety. Entire Campus including Hostels, residential areas, parking and the academic blocks are secured by 24x7 operating CCTV cameras. NIMs University has dedicated surveillance team to keep a close vigil on the movement of all types of suspicious activities and unauthorized access in the campus. University has also deployed security guards round the clock to provide safe campus life to all.
