The Department of Library Science has been established to impart education & training programme in Library Science. The university has state-of-art-library with all modern facilities of internet & other software. The department offers B. Lib. & M. Lib. courses.

Eligibility:
Graduate in any discipline for admission to B. Lib.
B. Lib for admission to M. Lib.
M. Lib for admission to M. Phil. & Ph.D.
Admission Criteria:
Admission is done on the basis of merit.
Students appearing in qualifying examination are also eligible to apply but their admission will be confirmed only after passing the qualifying exam.
Tuition/ other fee will not be refunded once deposited.
Foreign nationals/ NRI or Indians nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the foreign /NRI category
Selection to Ph. D. courses –A candidate shall only be admitted to Ph.D. course after the proforma submitted through Board of Studies is approved by the committee for Advance Studies and Research NIMS UNIVERSITY.
