Nims UNIVERSITY is steered by world renowned scientist Prof. (Dr.) Balvir S. Tomar, who is a Former Professor, Head & Director, Institute of Pediatric Gastroenterology, S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur and has been awarded various International & National level Fellowships & Awards. He is a member of International & National level GI/Medical Societies like NASPGN, APPSPGAN, ISPGN, GAI & IAP. He had been Investigator / Co-investigator in research projects funded by DST, ICMR, WHO, UNICEF. He is Consultant in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology, experienced in teaching of U.G. & P.G. medical, nursing, dietetic & paramedical students. He has been on the panels of evaluators of member of Country programmes, IMCR & WHO and also involved in setting up of several diagnostic and research techniques in Pediatric Gastroenterology, in-vetro organ culture system, hepatitis viral infections, surviving tests for metabolic liver diseases in children.
He has been guest faculty / invited speaker / chairperson of various International & National level conferences He has been guest speaker / chaired/ participated in various international conferences / Congress on Paediatric Gastroenterology held in different countries viz. USA, UK, Russia, Japan, Italy, France, Belgium, Swizerland, Poland, Austria, Singapore, Bangkok, Taiwan, South Koria, Malaysia , Hongkong, Turkey, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, UAE, Libya, Kuwait, Iran. He has been editor of various Journals. He is the author of several books and published 72 research papers in National & International Journals.

• International Award for the year 1995-1996 of the International Society of Pediatric-Gastroenterology & Nutrition for outstanding

From the day of inception of Indian Medical Trust and initiation of its first venture, the National Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. (Mrs.) Shobha Tomar has been involved from the day the first brick was laid. It is the untiring effort of “LEADING LADY OF RAJASTHAN” as Dainik Bhaskar daily news paper of Hindi has called her, the campus of once a medical college has been transformed into Nims UNIVERSITY.
Dr. (Mrs.) Tomar had done her graduation from King Georges Medical College Lucknow, obtained advanced training at PGI Chandigarh and King's College London, England and Harvard University of U.S.A. for In-vitro fertilization. She is Managing Director of Indian Medical Trust and Nims University.
Dr. Shobha Tomar always had a rather close relationship with practice of Gynecology and has excelled in the profession. Her scientific and philanthropic approach and zeal to provide quality medical education and training is the primary reason that she is devoting her energies for the development and establishment of educational institutions. She has served state medical services of Rajasthan for many years. After taking voluntary retirement she is fully devoted to the task of advancing the concept of education to all. |

Dr. Kothari has 38 years experience in teaching, research & administration. He had more than 20 research publications to his credit. He worked as Hospital Superintendent and Principal, Nims Medical College. Under his guidance tertiary level hospital was providing very good services to poor and needy people at charitable basis on one hand and highly sophisticated medical services on other hand. |

Dr. Singh has 38 years Experience in teaching, research, extension and administration. He had been Head of Department of Agronomy in CCS HAU, Hisar. and was Controller of Examinations in that university for Nine years. He is Fellow Indian Society of Agronomy.
Dr. Singh is the first Registrar of NIMS University Jaipur and actively involved in development of university in all spheres i.e. academic, administration, work-culture etc. His vision is to bring Excellency is every fields of University. |
